I absolutely love painting animals, bringing out their individual characters onto the canvas. What better way to celebrate your furry best friend than to have them immortalised in paint?

Please get in touch using the enquiry request form below - I'd be delighted to discuss your commission requirements and provide a no-obligation quote.

Prices will vary depending on the size and complexity of your individual requirements for your portrait so please use the pricing guide below to get a rough idea on cost.

I mostly work in oil paint, but can produce your portrait with acrylics if you are looking for something quicker.  As a guide, lead times are:

  •  Oils - 6-8 weeks.  There is a gap of approximately 4 weeks between final approval and shipping to allow for drying-time prior to varnishing and shipping - please note that some colours take longer to dry in oils than others, so this is a guide.

  • Acrylics 2-3 weeks.  Acrylics don't need that extra drying time, so, depending on the size and complexity, your portrait could be ready in 2-3 weeks.

The payment structure* for commissions allows you to spread the cost over the stages of the process:

  • 50% at commission agreement

  • 25% at final client approval

  • 25% prior to shipping

*I never want cost to be a barrier to you having the artwork that you want, so if affordability is a concern, please ask me about payment plans to spread the cost over a longer period that will suit your budget.

Please take a look at some examples of my pet portraiture work below to get some ideas for your commission.

A final cost estimate will be quoted individually following an initial no-obligation discussion having taken your individual requirements into account, which could increase the complexity of the composition, so please treat the price-list below as a guide for your pet portrait painting.
